This is all I want to reflect on today. Every person in this country, knowing or unknowingly, has invested in this moment somehow. The log of reasons why this is important are too long to even bother listing. This is no election spectacle. This is an American moment. A moment that was too long in the making. Will this President turn water to wine or walk on water? Probably not. Will everything you hate be better now? Probably not. But this is the moment where the Nerds did “The Rap” at the Greek Games. This is the moment where Marty KO’d Biff. This is the moment where the black child has definable status in this place we call a Melting Pot. As cameras pan across INCREDIBLY diverse crowds, you can’t help but feel in awe of the possibilities in this country. Hope is cool, but today, the sky’s limit just seems a little closer. Enjoy.

There’s never a lack of ways you can get hip to something. I was talking to some fam who doesn’t like or give two shits about hip hop and he put me on to this cat Jus Mic who just won the Clevelands Best MC award in Scene Magazine (he knows his father… small world).
