A New Direction

We get a lot of questions and email about the content of the site. People want to know why “So-and-so” isn’t featured. Artists want to know why we didn’t put their new mixtape up. *The simple answer is, we aim for a certain audience with our stamp. Focusing on those we consider talented yet unappreciated, the site until this point primarily focused on Cleveland Hip Hop music…… the way we like it!
A few things have been become apparent over the course of our run:
1) This site has garnered attention far past the local target we originally intended,
2) There’s indie artists all over that appreciate what we’re trying to do and want IN, and
3) On a local level, its like pulling teeth to get people to promote themselves….. FOR FREE.

For these and many other reasons, we present you INDIE 5 MEDIA!
We’re expanding our scope and will be including artist and info of all types. Hip Hop, Poetry, Art, Theater, Clothing producers, etc. Nationwide, if its Indie….. we bout it.
Expect updates more frequently, and expect to get acquainted with many new and interesting and talented people.
